Norms of Discipline
At Vidya International Public School, Nagla Khushal Chhatari Bulandshahar, we expect every student to contribute towards maintaining discipline and upholding the values of our institution.
General Rules
- Punctuality – No student should be late for school. All students must be in the school premises before the morning assembly.
- Uniform – Students must wear a clean, neat, and proper uniform every day. Fancy or costly ornaments and accessories are strictly prohibited.
- Transport – The school does not provide any transport facility. Parents/guardians are responsible for their child's commute.
Respect for Property & Cleanliness
- Students must take utmost care of school property. Any damage to furniture, walls, desks, or any school assets must be reported immediately to the class teacher or Principal.
- Any damage caused—whether intentional or accidental—must be compensated by the responsible student.
- The school premises, including classrooms, corridors, and playgrounds, must always be kept clean and tidy.
Personal Responsibility
- The school is not responsible for any loss of money or valuables. Students are advised not to bring expensive items.
- Students must not bring novels, newspapers, periodicals, comics, mobile phones, transistors, or any objectionable items to school.
- Running and shouting in school premises are strictly forbidden.
Discipline & Conduct
The school reserves the right to dismiss students whose:
- Academic progress is unsatisfactory
- Conduct is harmful to others
- Guardians show little interest in their child's education
- Actions include immorality, insubordination, disrespect for authority, or willful damage to school property
- Students must maintain discipline and good behavior at all times, both inside and outside the school.
Attendance & Leave Policy
- No student is allowed to leave school during school hours without prior written permission from their parents, countersigned by the Principal.
- Leave of absence must be taken with prior written permission from parents/guardians, except in cases of emergency.
- If a student is absent for more than 10 consecutive days without explanation, their name will be struck off the school rolls. Re-admission, if granted, will require a payment of ₹1000.
- All students must be present on the first day after vacations. Absentees without leave will be fined ₹10 per day. If absent due to illness, a medical certificate must be submitted before returning to class.
- Fine money collected is used to help financially underprivileged students.
Health & Medical Norms
- A student returning to school after suffering from an infectious or contagious disease must produce a doctor’s certificate permitting rejoining.
- Prescribed quarantine periods for infectious diseases:
- Chickenpox – Six days after the disappearance of the first crop of vesicles.
- Measles – Seven days from the appearance of the rash.
- Mumps – Nine days from the appearance of swelling of the salivary glands.

Admission Withdrawal
- One month’s notice in writing or one month’s fee in lieu thereof is required for withdrawing a student from the school. Students leaving in the month of April or May will have to pay the fees up to the month of June.
